Cover, lift and waist control for gowns that flare from the waist
This is the complete foundation for the structured silhouettes: ballgown, princess and A-line in Mikado, duchess satin, heavy lace or layered tulle. It works from the top down. Coverage at the bust, custom lift under it, and firm anchoring at the natural waist, which is the point a structured gown hangs from. The skirt hides everything below, so the kit spends nothing on invisibility at the thigh and everything on hold.
At the top, reusable silicone nipple covers in either the straight edge, which sits flattest under fine fabric, or the flower-cut edge for embroidered and detailed bodices. Boob tape then gives lift a strapless or plunging bodice cannot: medical-grade tape on a roll, cut to length and applied in shorter strips that lift upward and inward, carrying real weight through the day rather than just holding a shape.
The High Waist Shapewear Short does the structural work. High-density 360-degree control holds the waist firmly enough to read through a fitted bodice, boning front and back keeps the waistband up rather than folding over, and the woven panels shape the seat rather than flattening it. The leg finishes in a thick band, chosen deliberately over a laser-cut edge because on a garment shaping this firmly a raw edge would work loose and roll up the leg. That band needs a skirt to cover it, which is why this is the ballgown and A-line kit and not the sheath or mermaid one.
Wear the whole kit to your final fitting. The gown is pinned to the silhouette you present in the room, and a dress fitted over everyday underwear and married in a shaping short has been built to the wrong shape. If your gown is open at the back, the Low Back version of this kit swaps the short for shapewear cut below the lumbar with a laser-cut thigh.

No. The panels are woven so the waist and stomach are held while the seat is lifted and shaped. Flattening into a straight line is the most common complaint about high-street shapewear and the thing this piece was drafted to avoid.
S to XL on regular NZ sizing, by natural waist measurement rather than dress size. Between two sizes, size down for more cinch and structure under a firm bodice, or size up if you would rather avoid any bulging. The tape and covers are one size.
