Cover, lift and low-back sculpting for gowns that open at the back
An open back is the hardest bridal silhouette to dress underneath and the one we are asked about most. Two things work against you at once: the back opens too low for a band or a standard bodysuit, and the fabric, usually bias-cut silk or fluid crepe, shows every ridge. This kit is the complete answer for that gown, built so that nothing sits above the line of the dress and nothing underneath it has an edge to show.
Reusable silicone nipple covers come first, in the straight edge for the most transparent fabrics or the flower-cut edge for detailed bodices. Boob tape provides the lift that a backless or plunging neckline cannot get from a bra: medical-grade tape cut to length and applied in shorter strips, anchored low and lifted upward and inward. On a fully backless gown, tape and covers are often the entire top half of the foundation.
The Low Back Shapewear was designed for this dress. The back line drops below the lumbar so the exposed back stays clean, while the stomach and hips are still smoothed in one continuous panel with no horizontal seams. Boning at the side seams and in the leg keeps the garment elongated, a silicone waistband anchors it through a seated ceremony, and the leg finishes in a raw laser-cut border rather than a hem, so it can go under clingy fabric without leaving a line at the thigh.
This is the kit for slip dresses, low-back and open-back gowns, and for mermaid or trumpet silhouettes in crepe or satin where the fitted zone runs to the thigh. If your gown flares from the waist instead, the Waist Short version swaps the low-back piece for a firmer high-waisted short. Either way, wear the full kit to your final fitting so the gown is pinned to the shape you will marry in.

Common questions
Shapewear cut specifically low at the back, paired with boob tape and nipple covers for the bust. A strapless bra band or a standard bodysuit sits above the dress's back opening and shows. If the gown is completely backless and sheer, tape and covers with a laser-cut brief may be all you need.
The leg border is laser-cut rather than hemmed, and the smoothing panel has no horizontal seams, so there is no ridge to read through bias-cut silk satin. Silk is the least forgiving bridal fabric, and this piece was drafted against it.
Both are built around the Low Back Shapewear. The Backless Bride Kit pairs it with the cup-sized Adhesive Bra for a rounder, faster shape. This kit pairs it with boob tape and nipple covers instead, which suits deeper plunges, fuller busts and gowns whose back or sides open too far for cups.
S to XL on regular NZ sizing, by natural waist measurement. Between two sizes, size up if you do not want any pulling showing through a clingy fabric, or size down for more cinch. Tape and covers are one size.
