Built for the gowns that hide nothing
Sheer bodices, illusion panels, lightweight strapless necklines and fluid fabrics like chiffon, organza and fine crepe all share one problem: anything thick enough to hide is thick enough to see. A conventional bra is out, and so is most shapewear. What these gowns need is a small set of very thin things, each doing one job, and that is what this kit is.
Nipple covers give the coverage the fabric does not, in a feather-thin silicone that tapers to nothing at the edge. Choose the straight edge for the most transparent fabrics, where it sits flattest, or the flower-cut edge for embroidered or detailed bodices, where a set circle would be more obvious than a soft, organic border. Both are reusable with care.
Pushies add lift and build cleavage on a strapless or plunging neckline with no straps anywhere. They are non-adhesive silicone moulds, positioned by hand in front of the mirror in the actual dress, so the height and angle are yours to set. Fashion tape then holds the neckline and any straps exactly where the fitting left them, which is the difference between a dress that is finished and one that stays finished through the reception.
Underneath it all is a laser-cut seamless brief, cut and heat-sealed at the leg opening so there is no hem to press a line through a fluid skirt. The straight edge sits marginally flatter and is the one for the most transparent fabrics. The flower-cut edge tapers more softly and suits embroidered, lace or detailed bodices where a defined circle might show. Both are the same ultra-thin reusable silicone, so the choice is aesthetic.
