Anchor the waist, lift the bust, let the skirt do the rest
A ballgown changes the foundation problem completely. The skirt is voluminous enough to hide almost any underwear line, so invisibility below the waist stops mattering. What matters instead is structure: the bodice carries the entire weight of the skirt, and if the natural waist is not properly supported the dress pulls downward all day, with constant readjustment at the chest in a strapless style. This kit is the pairing built for exactly that.
The High Waist Shapewear Short holds the waist with high-density 360-degree control from the ribcage down, with boning front and back so the waistband stays up rather than folding over when you sit. The woven panels shape the seat rather than flattening it, because in several hundred fittings a year essentially nobody asks to be compressed into a straight line. The leg finishes in a thick band rather than a raw edge, a deliberate choice on a garment shaping this firmly: a laser-cut edge would work loose and roll up the leg, where the band grips and holds the shorts in shape all night.
That band has to be covered, which is why this kit belongs under a skirt that flares from the waist: ballgown, princess and A-line in Mikado, duchess satin, tulle or heavy lace. It is not the kit for a sheath, a column or a mermaid. Under those, the Backless Bride Kit uses a low-back piece with a laser-cut thigh instead.
Above the waist, the Adhesive Bra gives strapless lift and a rounded, natural shape with no band and no straps, in cup sizes A to D. Together they hold the two points a structured gown hangs from, the bust and the waist, so the weight of the skirt transfers to the pelvis rather than dragging at the bodice. A fuller bust can add boob tape beneath the cups for extra lift.

A high-waisted shaping short that anchors the natural waist, because the bodice carries the weight of the skirt and needs a firm point to hang from. The skirt hides any underwear line, so the priority is anchoring and comfort under heavy layers rather than invisibility.

The short runs S to XL on regular NZ sizing, by natural waist measurement rather than dress size. Between two sizes, size down if you want cinch and structure under a firm bodice, or size up to avoid any bulging. The adhesive bra is chosen by cup size, A to D.
