Composition: Silicone-backed adhesive cups with a soft microfibre face.
Care: Single-use for best hold; some styles are gently reusable. Peel slowly, rinse adhesive with mild soap and water, air dry face-up and re-cover with the backing film. Keep away from oils, lotions and moisturisers before application.
Choose your cup size — A, B, C or D. Self-adhesive; apply to clean, lotion-free skin.
Delivery: Express shipping across New Zealand is complimentary on orders over $100 NZD. Under $100, a flat rate applies: $5 for small accessories, or $12 for larger boxed pieces. In-stock orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days (2–3 day delivery), carefully packaged and gift-ready.
Return Policy: Due to the intimate nature of our garments, returns are not accepted — please choose your size and style carefully before ordering. This does not affect your rights under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act: if an item is faulty, we will always make it right.
Lift with nothing showing at the back
A strapless bra still needs a band, and a band needs somewhere to sit. In an open-back or low-back gown there is nowhere for it to go — which is why brides in these silhouettes so often arrive at a final fitting with the dress solved and the support unsolved. An adhesive bra removes the band from the equation entirely: the cups attach to the body, so the entire back and shoulder line stays clear.
These are silicone-backed adhesive cups with a soft microfibre face, available in cup sizes A, B, C and D. They sit flat to the body to create cleavage when positioned close together. They are reusable with proper care — peel slowly, rinse the adhesive face with mild soap and cool water, air dry face-up, and use the provided storage board between wears.
In Sarah Stoute's Christchurch fitting rooms this is the default recommendation for strapless ballgowns and structured bodices, usually alongside a sculpting layer below the waist. That combination is sold as the Hourglass Kit (with the waist shaping short) and the Backless Bride Kit (with low-back shapewear).
Common questions
An adhesive stick-on bra, boob tape, or a gown with built-in cups. A conventional strapless bra needs a band around the ribcage, which will sit above the back opening and show. Adhesive cups attach directly to the skin so the back stays completely clear.
On clean, dry, product-free skin, yes — through a full ceremony and reception. The most common cause of failure is moisturiser, oil or deodorant residue on the skin, all of which prevent the silicone from bonding properly. Apply at least twenty minutes before dressing.
Yes, with care. Peel off slowly, wash the adhesive surface with mild soap and cool water, let it air dry face-up without touching the silicone, and store them on the given storage board. Handled that way it will last many wears; handled carelessly it will lose tack after a few.
Adhesive cups give shape and lift rather than structural support, so for a fuller bust they are best combined with boob tape carrying the lift underneath. We usually advise our bustier brides to use boob tape and nipple covers for a better effect.
